Staff changes – Announcement from Board of Directors

The entire board expresses its thanks and appreciation to Rev. Charlie Miller for his eight years of service as Executive Director of the Crystal Coast Hospice House. Charlie recently submitted his letter of resignation. Throughout his tenure, Charlie worked closely with board members, staff, volunteers and many from the community during a time of impressive growth for the Hospice House. He will continue to serve as pastor of his local church and also continue his business which provides communication support services for churches.

We are grateful to Charlie. We wish him and his family all the best in the future.

One of the traits of a successful organization is that when turnover occurs there are others already in place who can step up to assume new roles and challenges. The Crystal Coast Hospice House is such an organization and is fortunate to have Ms. Kay Coole who has agreed to serve as the interim Executive Director. Kay enjoys the full respect and support of the board and possesses experience in administrative operations, special events management and quality monitoring and assurance. She has been with the Hospice House for 7 years and is deeply devoted to its mission. She is also energetic and hard working so along with our fully engaged board will keep the Hospice House moving forward on its positive trajectory.

Lastly, a genuine and warm thank you to all our donors and volunteers who have done so much for the Crystal Coast Hospice House , our community and the region. We look forward to joining with you as well as families and friends to enjoy the upcoming celebrations of our ten year anniversary!
