Follow us as the Hospice House is Built

A rainbow seems to touch the CCHH site
Great thought and care is being dedicated to the design and construction of the Crystal Coast Hospice House. Our Building Chair, Tommy Glasgow - former CEO of Clancy & Theys Virgina - is overseeing the Building Committee with decades of professional experience in commercial and medical construction to draw upon.
Members of the Building Committee have visited dozens of hospice homes throughout the Southeast to draw upon the best design and construction practices and learn from operators' experiences both in building their facilities and using the space once completed.
Of high importance is using local businesses to design, construct and furnish the facility whenever possible, with the understanding that not all products needed to operate a hospice house are available locally and with consideration of the stewardship of the funds donated to the Crystal Coast Hospice House. Our architect, Lee Dixon of Coastal Architecture, is located in Morehead City, NC.
With a favorable decision on our Certificate of Need application anticipated by the end of November 2011, groundbreaking should occur by the end of March 2012.
